Our own Kevin Brunclik was on board to catch this beautiful 42.7 lb yellow-tail. What did he use to catch it? BFG "greenie" Super Seeker 270H-8 footer paired with a Saltist 20H filled to the max with 50# Izor spectra tied to a 10 foot 20# Seagaur red label floro leader. It was fly lined with live squid pinned through an owner ringed fly liner 2/0 hook. Charter for 2009 have now been updated. The biggest tuna in the tournament came in early the first day of the event as Ed and his team landed 199.7 yellowfin tuna. It was caught using a Penn 50VSW W/ Tiburon T-Bar Handle, 5 1/2' Penn 2255 ARA Rod, 100LB MOMOI Hi-Catch Diamond Line, Owner 8/0 Gorilla Hook on chunked Humbolt squid, Smitty’s Spyder harness & Long Range plate.
