Join Us Every Friday on the PURSUIT out of 22nd Street Landing
Every Friday the Baja Fish Gear team is onboard the Pursuit for a full day of fishing. The boat depart at 6AM and returns usually around 5PM or 6PM. The Pursuit will fish anywhere around Catalina Island and our coastline, including the famous Farnsworth Bank. Really they go where the fish are. They are targeting yellowtail, white sea bass, barracuda, bonito, halibut, sand and calico bass.

About Larry Brown

Larry Brown
Larry Brown has been fishing longer than he can remember. He has always been an avid angler but was limited to weekends and short trips during his career in the oil business. He retired at age 47 to pursue fishing on a much more serious basis. That was 12 years ago.

He now focuses his attention on long range angling on the famous long range sport fishing fleet out of San Diego. He seldom goes on trips less than 5 days in length, and is the official charter master of 7 long range trips, of between 5 and 11 days. Brown says this gives you the best opportunity for variety and to fish both open water for albacore, bluefin tuna, dorado, yellowfin and yellowtail and still time to visit one or more of the Baja coastal islands or high spots for several of these same species. The 10 day trips give you all of that variety plus a shot at wahoo, and if the stars are aligned perfectly, cow tuna, both of which seem to be on every angler’s wish list.
